100th Day Letter Project

It is hard to believe we are more than half way through with our school year! That being said, our 100th Day of School is just around the corner--if we do not have any snow days, our 100th day will be February 8th! We will celebrate this day in class with lots of special activities, and we will also celebrate by creating a project at home as part of this week and next week’s homework.

Each student has been assigned to create a letter or a number. When we put all of our letters together, we will spell out “We’re 100 Days Smarter”!  Each letter/number should have 100 items on it. These items can be anything from small drawings to stickers, candies to googly eyes, pasta to feathers, etc-- the possibilities are endless! Here are some examples of letters/numbers/symbols Ms. Riley's students have created in the past:

We brainstormed a list of possible items we could decorate with:
  • Bubble Gum Wrappers
  • Skateboards
  • Staples
  • Peas
  • Marker Lines
  • Autographs
  • Bruins Symbols
  • 100 Dots
  • Popcorn
  • Pepperonis
  • Acorns
  • Mints
  • Starburst
  • Feet
  • Goldfish
  • Shoes
  • Gummy Bears
  • Marshmallows
  • Socks
  • Dots Candy
  • Math Problems
  • Shopkins Drawings
  • Feathers
  • Computer Drawings
  • Elf on the Shelf Drawings
  • Pizza Drawings
Letters/numbers will be due back to school by Friday, February 5th. Be creative and have fun!
