Happy Fall! We are so excited to celebrate this wonderful season with a very special day in class. The 2R Giraffes will be celebrating “Holey Pumpkin Day” on Friday, Oct. 30th! Mrs. Healey started this tradition last year and we are excited to join them in the pumpkin fun. We will be weighing and measuring pumpkins, conducting several science experiments, writing and reading about pumpkins, and so much more! Your child will also be creating a spectacular fall lantern by carving their own pumpkin. Please send in one small carving pumpkin, by Thursday, Oct. 29th. Please have the top cut (around the stem) and the guts scraped loose (but still intact!), If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Our room parent (Caroline) will be helping to coordinate volunteers/ supplies for our festivities, so if you would like to help out please let her know.
Thanks for helping to make learning fun!
