We had so much fun celebrating love and friendship in honor of Valentine's Day this week!. In preparation for our party Friday afternoon, we spent the last few moments of our school day on Thursday decorating bags for our Valentines.
Our school day on Friday just flew by and before we knew it, it was time for our celebration! Families were welcome to join us as we passed out and opened up Valentines, munched on sweets, and enjoyed the company of our friends and family. We loved seeing all of the beautiful, funny, crafty, and creative cards from our friends!
Fun Fact: The first Valentine's Day Card was made in Worcester, MA, which is where Ms. Riley was born!
Some cards were even involved audience participation. Our Valentine's Celebration quickly turned into a Mustache Bash and Bubble Blowing Party!
We even found our friend the giraffe on a few cards!
After checking out our awesome Valentines, we munched on some sweet treats and healthy snacks. We had quite the feast of fruits, veggies, popcorn, muddy buddies, brownies, cookies, granola bars, juice, as well as the candy from our Valentines. Yummy!
|Ms. Riley can't wait to use her new oven mitt the next time she bakes cookies!|
While we know we are always loved and appreciated in our classroom and school community, we had so much fun celebrating that love with one another and letting each other know how much we truly care. Thank you to all of the giraffe families for sending in Valentines as well as snacks and party supplies. We had a wonderful time and we are so glad many family members were able to join us!
Happy Valentine's Day!
