Curl Up and Read Day

We got to wear our jammies to school and we brought some stuffies and blankets to curl up with while we read and read and read! One of our favorite reading times was our flashlight read with our 5th grade buddies in 5W!

That afternoon, Ms. Riley's friend Cynthia came to read us a story about a little girl in Central America and she taught us some great spanish words! After she read us the story, we played 4 corners with a Spanish twist-- we counted and called all of the corners using their Spanish names!

We had a blast celebrating our love of reading all week long, enjoy your break and keep on reading!!
